Connections and decisions
Connections show how work moves between steps on an Oroko process map.
Each connection links one step to another. A connection can also carry a label where the route needs explanation.
Decisions
Section titled “Decisions”Use a Decision step when the process can follow more than one route.
A decision can define branches such as:
- Yes / No;
- Approved / Rejected;
- Complete / Needs more information.
The branch label should explain the condition or outcome that determines the route.
Keep the flow readable
Section titled “Keep the flow readable”Connections should explain sequence and branching, not replace the supporting documentation.
Use step descriptions, Procedure and other process views for detail that would otherwise make the map difficult to scan.
