Procedure
The Procedure view turns the selected process state into a step-by-step operating guide.
It is generated from the process structure rather than maintained as a separate copy.
What appears in Procedure
Section titled “What appears in Procedure”Procedure excludes the Start and End boundary steps and presents the operational steps in sequence.
For each step, it can show:
- step name and description;
- owner;
- role;
- system;
- duration;
- decision branches;
- inputs;
- outputs;
- documents;
- notes;
- annotations.
Additional detail can be expanded or collapsed for each procedure item.
Procedure stays connected to the map
Section titled “Procedure stays connected to the map”When the underlying process step changes, the Procedure view reflects that process information.
This is intended to avoid maintaining a separate procedure document that can drift away from the process map.
Current and Future states
Section titled “Current and Future states”Procedure is generated from the currently selected process variant.
Switch the process state when you need the procedure for a different variant, such as Current State or Future State.
