Create your first process
Processes are created inside a workspace and appear in the Process Library.
You can start with a new process or use a reusable template.
Start from the Process Library
Section titled “Start from the Process Library”Open Process Library from the workspace navigation.
From there, create a process using the available create action. Once the process opens, the process-level navigation gives you access to its Map, Procedure, Details, Analysis, Versions and Governance views.
Start from a template
Section titled “Start from a template”Open Template Library if you want to begin from a reusable structure.
Oroko supports workspace templates as well as starter templates. When you use a template, Oroko creates a new process from that structure in the active workspace.
Creating a process from a template requires workspace Owner or Admin access.
Build the map
Section titled “Build the map”The Map is the visual representation of the process.
Oroko’s canonical step types are:
- Start
- Activity
- Decision
- Subprocess
- End
Connect steps to show how work moves from one step to another.
Add context
Section titled “Add context”The map should show the flow without carrying every piece of process documentation inside each node.
Use the other process views for supporting information:
- Procedure for the operating guide.
- Details for process-level context.
- Analysis for issues and opportunities.
- Versions and Governance when the process needs formal control or review.
Current State first
Section titled “Current State first”A new process can begin with a Current State variant. Document how the process works today before introducing a Future State where that distinction is useful.
